Joan Barceló Padrosa
Architect from Escola Tècnica Superior de Barcelona in 1981, he opened his own architecture office in 1982 in Platja d’Aro. During his studies he worked for different structure and construction engineering companies in Barcelona, providing him with a detailed knowledge of all construction techniques. In 1985 he started his career as a property developer in conjunction with his architecture practice, acquiring a complete vision of all the parties involved in the architectural and construction process.
Elisabet Barceló Quintana
Architect from Escola Tècnica Superior de Barcelona in 2008, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. She participated in the workshop Transitions at the Architectural Association of London in summer 2001 and studied during the academic year 2004-2005 at the Technische Universität of Vienna, Austria. During her studies she worked for the Urbanism Department of the UPC (Departament d’Urbanisme i Ordenació del Territori), also for the urbanism studio of Professor Maria Rubert de Ventós and for the Swiss architecture office EM2N in 2006. After a period of two years working in the Netherlands she renewed her collaboration with 2BA in 2013.
